Banca Intesa participated in the meeting of the Russian-Italian working group on matters of industrial districts and cooperation in sphere of small and medium business

13 Oct 2017 Yekaterinburg. Banca Intesa participated in the 26th meeting of the Russian-Italian working group on matters of industrial districts and cooperation in the field of SMEs.

The event was organized by the Government of Sverdlovsk region and the Corporation for development of the Middle Urals, with the support of the Ministries of economic development of Russia and Italy. More than 100 entrepreneurs from all over Russia and more than 50 representatives of Italian companies attended the event. During the event, several round tables  were held on the topics such as: construction, engineering, logistics in the oil and gas industry, as well as, on inter-regional business related issues.

Mikhail Volkov, Director of the SME Department of Banca Intesa in his talk “The Advantages of Banca Intesa support in Russian-Italian projects” highlighted the benefits of cooperation with Banca Intesa.

The representatives of Sverdlovsk region Government, the Italian-Russian chamber of Commerce, Italian Trade Agency, and several public organizations expressed their thoughts during the final plenary meeting of the working group.

All participants had a chance to visit some of Ural’s biggest enterprises. “We highly estimate this event, as it facilitates the dialogue between Italian and Russian entrepreneurs, State civil servants, representatives of financial institutions and regional business organizations. Such events help to strengthen mutually beneficial business relations and lead to a development of small and medium size businesses”, - said General Director of Banca Intesa, Ural region, Alena Filippova.
