Banca Intesa supports the X Italian film festival “From Venice to Moscow”

21 February 2019, Moscow. Banca Intesa has opened a new cinematographic season and presented to the Moscow audience the X Festival of the Italian cinema “From Venice to Moscow” (Da Venezia a Mosca). The Festival will be held on February 20-24 in the cinema center “Okryabr” (Novy Arbat, 24), under the General sponsorship of the Bank. The festival will present the brightest Italian films shown in various sections of the 75th Venice International Film Festival.

This year the Venice Biennale is present in Moscow with 9 films of various genres and periods. All of them are original, different in style and cinematographic language, which fully allows entering in the cultural diversity of the Italian cinema.

One of the main themes of the Festival is the personality of Bernardo Bertolucci. The organizers decided to honor the memory of the brilliant filmmaker by programming his film “1900”, as well as “Long live Giuseppe!” by Stefano Consiglio, where Bernardo Bertolucci’s father, Attilio, tells about Bernardo’s  younger brother, Giuseppe and his life.

Some authors personally take part in the Festival. The director of the documentary “Goodbye, Saigon”, Wilma Labate, the director of the drama “Predictions of the armadillo”, Emanuele Scaringi, and the author of “Long live Guiseppe!”, Stefano Consiglio will present their production in Moscow.

The full program of the festival is on the website of the film center “Oktyabr”.
