The touristic SIM-card “GoodLine” with an initial balance of 5 US Dollars enables outcoming and incoming phone calls under low rates while travelling. The Travel Miles collected on the iGlobe.ru can be channeled to pay for tickets of more than 380 airlines and services of more than 200 thousand hotels, as well as car rental, tickets for the airport train Aeroexpress, etc.
To receive information on all transactions with the card, the customers may use additional services: SMS-notification and access to “my.bancaintesa”. The Travel Card holders also receive bonuses for Banca Intesa products such as one year of free usage of Visa Classic credit cards and a discounted rate on consumer loans. This card is issued within several minutes after filling out of the required documents in a Bank branch.
“I would like to thank Banca Intesa for this initiative and such an innovative idea which is the first of its kind. The Travel Card is specially designed for travelers who prefer to spend their vacation in Italy and it’s also a favour to our Russian friends. One of the journalists I know told me that our countries should run a year of tourism every year. The Travel Card is dedicated to the Italy-Russia Year of Tourism 2013-2014, but it doesn’t mean that the Travel Card project will be invalid after the end of the Year”, Ambassador of Italy to Russia Cesare Maria Ragaglini said.
“It’s an honor for Banca Intesa to participate in the business and cultural relations between Russia and Italy, to support the public and private companies as well as contribute to the development of the Russian economy and financial and banking system. The debit card for travelers to Italy is our contribution to the touristic and economic exchange between our friendly countries,” Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Intesa Antonio Fallico said.
