Italy and Russian Medievalists, an International Conference Supported by Banca Intesa, Held at A. Solzhenitsyn House of Russia Abroad
27 November 2014, Moscow. Italy and Russian Medievalists1, an international research conference, has been held at Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of Russia Abroad. The conference was supported by Banca Intesa, Conoscere Eurasia non-profit association and the Italian Culture Institute of Moscow.
The conference focused on academic heritage of researchers who had contributed significantly to the formation of Russian medieval studies and were noted for their in-depth research of the history and culture of Italy.
The event included presentations by top education and research institutions of Russia and Italy, including the General History Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow State University, Moscow State Institute for International Relations, Moscow Institute for Architecture, University of Pisa, University of Macerata, etc.
